SOLD OUT – See nature rejoicing: singing to herald the early summer
During the last few weeks members of Leicestershire Chorale have been rehearsing, in ensembles of six singers, a programme of madrigals for our forthcoming concert at St Andrew's, Jarrom Street, Leicester on Saturday 3rd July 2021. This concert, will feature a programme of prayerful, soothing yet uplifting choral music to help honour the memory of those we have lost over the last eighteen months. It will include music by William Harris, Alonso Lobo, Josef Rheinberger, JS Bach, Johannes Brahms, Robert Lucas de Pearsall and others, and will feature organ and piano solos from David Cowen, and poetry and prose from members of the choir.
